EFCC Nabs Sokoto Government Officials For Diverting Salaries
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has arrested officials of the Sokoto state government for diverting salaries. Abubakar Maigishiri, a serving Counselor in Tureta local government area of Sokoto State and the Director of Works and Housing of the council, Tukur Yabo was nabbed by the anti-graft agency for allegedly diverting salary of some employees of the state-owned security outfits, Neighbourhood Initiative and Sokoto Marshall.

Boko Haram Invade IDP Camps, Kill Two, Loot Food Supplies
Boko Haram insurgents have killed two persons after raiding an Internally Displaced Peoples(IDPs) camps in northeast Nigeria, Emergency Services said Friday. According to the report, Boko Haram fighters on motorcycles and two motorised rickshaws invaded Dalori camp, Maiduguri, Borno state, on Thursday, shooting people and looting food supplies after overrunning a nearby military base.
