Nigerian rapper Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley was on Monday arraigned at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission dragged the rapper to court over his alleged involvement with advance fee fraud.
Marley who donned a white top and black jean for his hearing, looked rather subdued as he was led into the dock.
The court also witnessed a mild drama as his mother on sighting him burst into uncontrollable tears as family members who had come to court with her tried to pacify her.
Court proceedings were however stalled due to the absence of the defence team. However one of his lawyers, Taiwo Oreagba was sighted in court.
