Delta state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has disclosed that the only condition for Nigeria to disintegrate is if the South-South geopolitical zone joins the Biafra agitation.
Okowa who was represented by his executive assistant, Barrister Eugene A. Uzum, at the Niger Delta Peace and Security Summit which held at Koko, Warri North Local Government Area, noted that the federal Character system and ethnic in the country have been grossly mismanaged by our leaders.
His words:
Nigeria will break up when South-South agrees to join Biafra. Until the people in the South-South unite they cannot move forward.
“Nigeria will divide the very day the South-South agrees to join Biafra”. He added that the “Federal Character system and ethnics” in the country have been grossly mismanaged by our leaders. Unless you are from a particular tribe in this country, you cannot secure a job. Unless you have one big man somewhere, you cannot get a job. Those who control the security apparatus are Hausas. A particular tribe runs the security apparatus.”
