After the Wednesday tragedy on Lagos Island, that claimed the lives of 12 innocent children upon collapse of a building that housed their school, government has begun demolition of marked buildings.
Many buildings marked for demolition on Freeman Street at the Ita Faji area of Lagos Island, are now being brought down to avoid further tragedies.
Wednesday building collapse had occurred had on Massey Street in It’s Faji area had left some school children and residents killed, while many more were left injured and still receiving treatments at various hospitals.
