Senator Ben Murray Bruce has urged ordinary Nigerians to desist from the habit of fighting themselves over the country’s elites in either side of the ‘political divide’.
Ben Bruce, who is the lawmaker representing Bayelsa East at the National Assembly (senate), made this point via his Twitter handle on Sunday, saying that the elites rather than fight do things together.
According to the senator, these political elites never ever fight themselves as they – marry each other, their children marry each other, do business together, jump from one party to another together.
His words:
The elites on both sides of the political divide don’t allow political differences to divide them to the extent of enmity. They marry each other. Their children marry each other. They do business together. They cross from one party to the other. So why should you fight for them?
