Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has said that women are the heart of families, businesses and communities and that his why, his first campaign event was to discuss with women.
According to the former vice President, he had to discuss with women the plans and policies he has for them.
Atiku further noted that mothers are more concerned with the direction of the economy, as they are the ones, who are unable to sleep when the children can’t get jobs.
Speaking via his twitter handle on Saturday, Atiku said his job will be to provide jobs for the children, that way mothera allover the country can have peace.
In his words:
Women are at the heart of our families, businesses and communities. This is why, one of my first exclusive events this campaign was with the women of our party today, to discuss my policy and plans for them.
Mothers are most concerned about the direction of our economy. If our children cannot get jobs, mothers cannot sleep. My job as president will be to bring peace of mind to mothers all over Nigeria, by ensuring their children can find jobs.
