Real Madrid progress to the round 16 of the Copa Del Rey after thumping Melilla 6-1 this afternoon at the Santiago Beanebeu putting their aggregate score at 10-1 after the two legged event.
Spanish International, Isco Alcoron, made headlines as his first match for Real Madrid since October 28th which also doubles as his first start under new coach, Santiago Solari, produced a brace this afternoon.
The skillful midfielder who also captained his side during the tie scored two wonderful goals in the second half and was also decisive in the final third during the encounter.
His captaincy and display during the match has generated a mixed reaction from football lovers with some feeling that the new coach bent to the Spanish media while others feel the captain armband could just be a ploy to calm him down and might still return to the bench.
