Head of senate President Bukola Saraki’s presidential election campaign organization, Doyin Okupe has asked Nigerians to disregard reports that Saraki is stepping down.
According to Mr Okupe, the ‘disinformation being spread by unscrupulous politicians’ should be done away with.
Speaking via Twitter on Saturday, Okupe said Saraki is the leading man in the race and as such, has business stepping down.
He wrote:
Please Disregard the disinformation being spread by unscrupulous politician that SARAKI is stepping down. He is d leading candidate in this Race and will by God's Grace be elected as flag bearer of pdp today.
