National leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu got a huge welcome when he arrived at ward C, Alausa, Ikeja, to participate in the ongoing governorship primary election of his party.
After voting, Tinubu who spoke with journalists shortly after said that he was beneath whatever was going on today as it was necessary for democracy.
The former Lagos state governor also described as an insult, insinuations that he has any rift with the present Lagos State governor, Akinwumi Ambode.
According to Tinubu, he brought Ambode to power and has no reason to have a rift with him.
In his words :
“It is a democracy day for us. It is even beyond me as a leader. Whatever is happening today, I have to submit myself to the party wishes.”
He performed very well as a civil servant and when he showed interest in politics after the leadership… we gave him the opportunity.”
