‘Stop comparing me to others. I have a limit to what I can do for fame’ – Waconzy cries out

Thursday 30 August 2018

Nigerian singer, Obinna Kelvin Anyanwu, AKA Waconzy, has revealed that other musicians go the extra mile for fame and he shouldn’t be compared with them because he has limits.

He took to his Instagram page to talk on how unlike other artistes, he can’t walk down a certain road because there’s a limit to what he can do for the glitz and glamour.

He also insinuated that the “other things” doesn’t make them rest but he has peace of mind and a clear conscience which is very priceless.

In his words:

Pls Stop comparing me to other musicians. I have a limit to the things I can do for fame (u won’t understand) . But at the end of the day , it’s all vanity upon vanity . Most importantly , I have peace of mind & a clear conscience which to me is priceless.

Waconzy who was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, is a singer, songwriter, record producer and philanthropist with family roots in Umuahia, Abia State.

He is the founder of Dv8 Media and the Waconzy foundation. He rose to prominence in 2010 with his song “I Celebrate” which sold platinum. His second album Money Back Guarantee was released in 2013. He is currently signed to Dv8 Media.

Waconzy said he has plans to turn to a pastor in due time because he has a calling.
