It is an obvious fact, that movie making in Nigeria isn’t lucrative, which has forcefully made many of the theater practitioners to find other ways of making livelihood.
At a time in the industry, especially among the ladies, everyone was crazy about floating her own boutique which ended up in nothing. This business became popular after the likes of screen goddess; Bukky Wright successfully ran her boutique named “B.Wright Boutique” for years.
Subsequently, the eras of Hair, Spa and Wine businesses came and it became a national trade for this set of actresses, which later crumbled as a result of lack of managerial skills suffered by a few numbers of them.
However, the latest business currently making waves in the industry is selling of bleaching cream. The likes of Mosun Filani, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Rose Odika, Yetunde Aderibigbe, Bimbo Ogunowo, Wunmi Toriola, Biodun Okeowo, Tope Osoba, Victoria Kolawole, Joke Jigan and several others are the strong pillars keeping the trending business going.
