President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday during a meeting with some stakeholders at the Government House in Makurdi, the Benue State capital said he is not aware that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, left Benue State for Nasarawa State after he was ordered to relocate to the state.
Buhari was informed by the people of Benue that the IGP did not spend up to 24hrs in Benue. Nigerians everywhere are wondering why Mr President didn’t do a follow up on his instructions to IGP Idris to relocate to Benue and stop the killings and what will happen now that he knows, his orders were defiled by the IGP.
Femi Adesina, was earlier on Channels TV explaining to Nigerians why Buhari didn’t know IGP Idris didn’t move to Benue as ordered. According to him, the information that the IGP disobeyed the President’s order to relocate to Benue only came yesterday, which before then was just a mere allegation. Mr Adesina whom Nigerians have crowned the ‘king of comparison’ was quoted to have said, “under GEJ 230 girls were kidnapped but under Buhari “JUST” 110 girls were kidnapped…”
