1. Eat, drink and be merry
Enjoy the season! This isn’t the time to be reclusive and sit at home watching TV all day. Hang out with friends, attend weddings, visit your family members and distant relatives. Ensure that you’re happy all through this season. If you’re a workaholic, this is the period to chill a little, celebrate and be thankful for life, love and people.
2. Learn from the past and stay out of trouble
There’s a passage in the scripture that says, “Though a man falls seven times, he will surely rise again”. It highly important to remember that we are humans and are prone to make mistakes. therefore, it is better to rise, dust yourself, review the cause of the mistake and move on without looking back in this new year. Otherwise you may repeat it.
3. Start making plans on how to make money for the year
Like a singer said; “make money moves”. Do not expect things that you need to be handed to you on a platter of gold. Do stuff that aids you to get a step closer you dreams and who know; it may just lift you to your goals in life. For Those who own businesses, it is better to have business and investment plans and budgets mapped out before the new year. This is a strategic move to help you go through 2018 conscious of how much you’re spending and how much you’re investing. You can never go wrong preparing.
4. Stay Healthy
do not joke with your health. remember that life is a gift and must treated with love, commitment and respect. eat right, and never play with rest. always learn to work hard and also play hard.
5. Be Grateful Always;
A merry heart is medicine for the soul. you can never go wrong with a healthy, thankful life. A wise man once said; “a heart full of thanks will have never have an empty TANK”. food for thought.
