The Super Falcons are now the Africa champions after they defeated the Bayana Bayana of South Africa 4-3 on penalties at the just concluded Total African Women Cup of Nations tournament in Accra, Ghana.
With the victory yesterday, they have now won the tournament a record of 9 times and also remain the only nation to have won the continental competition three times in a row.
Their heroic showing at the just concluded competition have been sparkling a lot of reactions from prominent Nigerians with Mutiu Adepoju being the latest person to have reacted.
The former midfielder who was known as ‘ the headmaster’ during his playing days took to his Twitter handle early this morning to post a sweet messages for the Super Falcons.
