Real Madrid win less streak continues after they found it hard to break a resolute Alaves defence and also went down to concede at the death. They have now been unable to find the back of the net in 4 consecutive games for the first time in 33years.
They started the season in a fashion that suggested that they would be fine without their departed superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, after dispatching various opponents in their first three games of the new season with Gareth Bale and Benzema firing the goals in.
It was suggested that the duo would step up in Ronaldo’s absence but it doesn’t seems so after going 4 consecutive matches across all competition without a single goal.
The Los Blancos fans have taken to social media to react to this goalless streak with some criticizing Madrid board for not signing a replacement for the departed Ronaldo.
What they said below:
Remember when some fans felt Madrid didn't need CR7 and he was the reason why Benzema and Bale have not shined? #AlavesRealMadrid
