Nigeria is 58 years old today. The country got its independence from great Britain on October 1st, 1960 after several years of colonization by the European country.
Several personalities have been reacting to this wonderful 58th anniversary with CSK Moscow forward, Ahmed Musa, being the latest to join in the trend.
The Nigerian international who was outstanding at the just concluded FIFA World cup tournament in Russia and also had one of his goals at the competition nominated for best goal of the tournament, took to his social media account early this morning to wish his country, Nigeria, a happy independence.
What he said:
Today is a day that represents freedom, equality and unity. I stand proud to be a Nigerian and on this day of our independence. I want to salute all my fellow Nigerias in honour of this great day.
