Outgoing Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has said he would still appear at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) as he earlier wrote.
The governor said this, following a letter by the anti-corruption agency to the Comptroller General of Custom, that he(Fayose) be put on a watch list, to prevent him from leaving the country. Fayose said he hasn’t changed his mind on meeting EFCC in their office but if the investigation can not wait, then investigator should meet him, in his office in Ado Ekiti.
Fayose shared a copy of his recent letter to the agency via his twitter handle and wrote thus:
Notwithstanding its demonstration of hate, prejudice, persecution and partiality,I again wrote the
@officialEFCC today, that I will be available on October 16. But if their investigation cannot wait till October 16, investigators can meet me in my office in Ado Ekiti on Sept 20
