Former Barcelona coach, Luis Enrique, is the latest to voice out his disappointment at the omission of Barcelona’s talisma, Lionel Messi, from the FIFA World best finalists. The Argentine is missing from the list for the first since 10 years.
The Finalists consist of Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohammed Salah.
Enrique who is now Spain’s coach made this disclosure after the match between Spain and Croatia. The match which was won by Spain in a 6 goals to nil thriller was Croatia’s first competitive match since the World cup.
Little wonders he made sure Croatia were walloped.
See what he said below:
Luis Enrique: "Luka Modric is the best in the world? If it's about choosing the best Croatian player, you can choose between Modric or Rakitic, but the best player in the world is Leo Messi." pic.twitter.com/vPArKSgOzK
