The La Albiceleste put their World cup misery behind them by thrashing Guatemala 3-0 yesterday in a friendly played at Los Angeles, USA.
Atlectico Madrid’s Coach, Diego Simeone, was in Los Angeles to watch his son, Giovanni Simeone, make his debut appearance for the Argentine senior team. The son however didn’t disappoint his father as a capped his debut appearance with a beautiful goal. They were 2 goals up when he scored a beautiful third just before the half time break. The match ended 3-0.
With the goal, the two of them have now made history as they become the only second father-son pair to score for the Argentine National team after Ruben and Diego Galetti.
