AC Milan got their first win of the season in style after they defeated AS Roma 2-1 tonight in a tightly contested encounter. The winning was so special because it marks the first maximum points for the San Siro out fit and also, their high profile summer signing, Gonzalo Higuain, was the architect of the goal.
Milan who drew first blood through ,Franck Kessie, were pegged back by Roma after the opening goal. The Roman got the leveler in the 51st minute and the tie became one sided in favour of AC Milan. But the couldn’t carve anything meaningful out until one moment of magic from Higuain opened the Roman defence with virtually the last kick of the match.
He single handedly took on the Roman defence before releasing a sumptuous 40yards pass for Patrick Cutrone to put past the goalkeeper. And this lovely individual play has gotten people talking on social media.
