The father to a mentally unstable man in a community in Imo State, has been sent to his early grave after his son struck him with a shovel.
A mentally unstable man has reportedly murdered his own father, Ifeanyi Ekweogu, on Tuesday, in the Ugbelle area of Imo State.
It was gathered that the suspect, Emmanuel Ekweogu, killed the deceased after he was trying to leave the house with his mother’s bible, but was stopped by his father.
Angered by the act, Emmanuel got a shovel and struck his father which led to his tragic death.
