Bride-to-be Caught With Her Side-Lover 24hrs To Her Wedding Introduction Doing This

Thursday 5 October 2017

A young lady has been nabbed by the operatives of Nigerian Police for her alleged involvement in cultism, just 24 hours to her wedding ‘introduction’ in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Barely 24 hours to her proposed wedding ‘introduction’ in Abeokuta, a woman identified as Bose Christopher, has been arrested by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), during the initiation of cult members in a hotel.

According to the Police, she had gone to the initiation ceremony with a boyfriend when she was arrested alongside other suspected cultists.

While speaking with journalists on Wednesday while being paraded alongside 30 other members of the cult group‎ at the police headquarters, Eleweran in Abeokuta she said;

“It is true, I went with my boyfriend to the party and it is also true that my wedding introduction was scheduled to hold the following day I went to the ceremony with my boyfriend,” she said.

Miss Christopher denied being a member of the cult group or knowing that her boyfriend, who she claimed she started a relationship with two weeks earlier, was a cultist.

“I met him (boyfriend) about two weeks ago and I never knew he is a cult member. He just called me after I closed from the shop to join him at the party,” she said‎.

The suspect who claimed to be a fashion designer, also disclosed that her intended husband‎ had since stopped communicating with her since her arrest by the police.

The police also paraded 35 suspects for offences ranging from armed robbery, impersonation, kidnapping to rituals.

The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ilyasu, while parading the suspects on Wednesday, disclosed that they were arrested at different locations in the state, adding that a number of exhibits which include arms and ammunition, snatched vehicles, military uniforms and human parts were recovered from the suspects.

The police boss said the suspects would be charge to court without any delay after police investigations.
