A woman identified as Moleen Mukunzve recently approached the Harare Civil Court in Zimbabwe where she applied for a protection order against her ex-husband, Trymore Rambawo, accusing him of harassing and threatening to assault her even though the two separated a year ago.
According to H-Metro, the woman who disclosed she is living in fear of her ex-husband who is harassing and threatening to assault her, said: “Your Worship, I do not want to be harassed and this man is my ex-husband. I want him to bring back my property that we used to use at our matrimonial home. I am no longer interested in him, I only want my things back”.
In her response Rambawo said, “The property she is claiming is not even hers, it belongs to me. Your Worship mukadzi ndaimuda uyu. Ndakamuona ane mushonga paakabva ku South Africa zvinove zvinhu zvakandirwadza chaizvo. I do not have her property these are my hard-earned belongings which I bought with my own money without her contribution.
“The reason why she left our matrimonial home it is because I caught her with some juju whose use I didn’t know whilst she knows that we are Christians and don’t use juju,” said Rambawo.
Presiding magistrate granted the protection order in Mukunzve’s favour.
