From Screen Starlet to Queen of Charity, Tonto Dikeh has launched a fund raising and awareness campaign for the people of Benue State following the disastrous flooding of some of their homes and streets recently. The flood which ravished various parts of Makurdi left people homeless, heartbroken and in pain.
In collaboration with well meaning organizations such as the Kokun Foundation, Hamabid and Afrivent, the assessment of the most affected areas has already been undertaken and the Basic Emergency Needs identified are Food, Clothes, Mosquito Nets, Medicine, Books and able-bodied Volunteers.
On top of the physical devastation of the flood, there is a growing fear for the health of the people.
In order to get more Relief Materials to the area, the foundation is seeking donations to further provide logistics and support.
Tonto Dikeh says “it is important for citizens of the world to come together and give to those in need no matter how small”.
This campaign is powered by The Tonto Dikeh Foundation.
