See What Emir of Zazzau Who Was Allegedly Denied Access During Buhari’s Visit Has To Say

Thursday 14 September 2017

Following rumours that Emir of Zazzau Alhaji (Dr) Shehu Idris was denied access to see President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna, the emirate has replied.

The Zazzau emirate council on behalf of His Highness Alhaji (Dr) Shehu Idris C. F. R wish to debunk the rumors regarding the incidence that occurred at the commissioning of the Olam Hatchery and Feed Mill at Kaduna yesterday 12th September, 2017.

The event had in attendance President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, Governor El-Rufai and his Deputy Yusuf Bantex, traditional rulers that include Emirs of Kano, Birnin-Gwari as well as His Highness Emir of Zazzau and other dignitaries within and outside the State.

Although it was reported that the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji (Dr) Shehu Idris was denied access in to the venue or rather was delayed before he was finally granted access, either way we wish to draw the attention of the public that His Highness was well aware of protocols and conduction of due process in occasions like this.

The incidence was exaggerated by people whose intentions were to destabilize the good relationship between the Emirate and Governor El-Rufai’s administration due to certain reasons best known to them. The report on the incidence was purposely made with the intent to publicly demean His Highness. He therefore call on public particularly the youth to put to shame whoever is responsible of reporting the incidence as a form of embarrassment to him or the emirate by ignoring such reports.

He further added that this great investment was a part of the campaign promise made by Governor EL-Rufai’s administration towards creating employment to our youth and therefore urge the youth to see it as a step towards the right direction.

Assistant Secretary, Zazzau Emirate Council.

Dan Isan Zazzau, Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris.
