I was at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant on Friday night and I thought Miss Imo would be our next queen… the one likely to bring back the Miss World crown to Africa…but she didn’t even make top 5. The girl who won is stunning no doubt, but she’s more a model than a beauty queen…but the judges saw what they saw and their decision is final.
Nigerians of course took to twitter on Friday night to blast the judges for their decision and it looks like they are still holding on their grudge, because as of this morning, two days after the pageant, MBGN and Miss Imo are still trending on Nigerian Twitter…lol
I went for Miss Nigeria 14 years ago and I didn’t make Top 10. I was devastated that night but look at me now…lol *wink*. So maybe God has bigger, better plans for Ugomma Ukegbu. So keep ya head up, lady!
