Trouble dey sleep, yanga go wake am! Just like the movie, The Revenant, only that this time, it’s real and no CGIs are involved – an enormous bear mauled a man after he allegedly teased with the beast by dangling food above its jaws.
36 year old Naiphum Promratee, and his friends had gone to a temple in rural Phetchabun province, Thailand, when he was reportedly seen holding a bowl of rice above the huge bear before it suddenly snatched him into its enclosure.
The animal knocked him unconscious as it dragged him back towards its cage.
After failed attempts to rescue him,one of the group ran into the enclosure and battered the bear in its cage with a pole while friends rescued Naiphum.
Naiphum was rushed to hospital where he is now recovering and able to talk.
