Nobody should be dabbing in August of 2017.
But that doesn’t mean you should be arrested for performing the dance move.
In reason 2974 not to travel to Saudi Arabia, TV personality Abdallah Al Shaharani was arrested Monday because he was caught on tape dabbing.
Dabbing is illegal in Suadi Arabia because it’s associated with narcotic use and “contrary to the national strategy to combat drugs.”
Al Shaharani realized he screwed up and preemptively apologized after the show.
“I am most apologetic to our honorable government and my dear president for the spontaneous movement I made in the Ta’if Festival. Accept my apology. Peace be upon you.”
However that wasn’t enough, and he was taken in by the police the next day.
It’s unclear if he is still being detained
