The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has decried an attack on some of its members who were on their way to Abuja for its national convention this weekend. The opposition party says it is shocked at the incident and has called for an investigation into the matter.“We also received with shock, the attack by gunmen on some PDP delegates from Lagos state, who were on their way to attend the Convention. “This is sad and unfortunate. We call on the security agencies to investigate the matter and bring perpetrators to book.
We sympathize with the victims of this barbaric attack and call on our members in Lagos and other states to remain resolute and undeterred.”
