A Florida police sergeant resigned after posting nearly 300 graphic photos of herself online, including lewd images taken in uniform.

Sgt. Penny Dane of the Daytona Beach Police Department "admitted she accessed and sent sexually explicit pictures as part of an online game called Red Light Center," according to WKMG.

penny daneShe admitted to sending the images to her lover using police computers and while on duty.

"[The photos were] extremely pornographic in nature, and in several of the photos that we have since discovered, she was in her uniform," Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood told WKMG.

When asked how she could fulfill her work responsibility of supervising other officers while playing "Red Light Center," Dane reportedly told investigators, "I don't want to say I didn't have any idea what they were doing because then that would be obviously very wrong. I did pay attention to my radio and listen to what they were doing."

Dane was suspended for "similar activity" back in 2012, WESH reports.

The most recent revelations came after Dane accused a colleague of sexual harassment. While looking into her claim, investigators uncovered Dane's racy photos, according to WKMG.

Red Light Center bills itself as a porn-themed online virtual world, similar to Second Life.

Ways On How To Stop Snoring

Posted on No comments

You may be among the 45% of normal adults who snore at least occasionally or you likely know someone who does. He (or she) may be the brunt of jokes at family gatherings (“Uncle Joe snores so loudly he rattles the windows!”), but snoring is serious business.
For one, a snoring spouse often keeps the other person from a good night’s sleep, which can eventually lead to separate bedrooms. “Snoring can create real problems in a marriage,” says Daniel P. Slaughter, MD, an otolaryngologist and snoring expert at Capital Otolaryngology in Austin, Texas.

Not only is snoring a nuisance, but 75% of people who snore have obstructive sleep apnea (when breathing is disrupted during sleep for short periods), which increases the risk of developing heart disease, Slaughter says.

Use caution before you self-treat with over-the-counter sprays and pills until you’ve checked with your doctor, says Sudhansu Chokroverty, MD, FRCP, FACP, program director for Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine at JFK Medical Center in Edison, N.J. “Many stop-snoring aids are marketed without scientific studies to support their claims,” says Chokroverty, who is also a neuroscience professor at Seton Hall University’s School of Health and Medical Sciences.

Instead, try these natural solutions and lifestyle changes which may help you stop snoring.

Causes of Fatigue and Sleepiness and How to Fight Them

1. Change Your Sleep Position.
Lying on your back makes the base of your tongue and soft palate collapse to the back wall of your throat, causing a vibrating sound during sleep. Sleeping on your side may help prevent this.

“A body pillow (a full-length pillow that supports your entire body) provides an easy fix,” Slaughter says. “It enables you to maintain sleeping on your side and can make a dramatic difference.”

Taping tennis balls to the back of your pajamas can also stop you from sleeping on your back, Chokroverty says. “Or you can recline the bed with the head up and extended, which opens up nasal airway passages and may help prevent snoring. This may cause neck pain, however.” If snoring continues regardless of the sleep position, obstructive sleep apnea may be a cause. “See a doctor in this case,” Chokroverty says.

2. Lose Weight.
Weight loss helps some people but not everyone. “Thin people snore, too,” Slaughter says.

If you’ve gained weight and started snoring and did not snore before you gained weight, weight loss may help. “If you gain weight around your neck, it squeezes the internal diameter of the throat, making it more likely to collapse during sleep, triggering snoring,” Slaughter says.

3. Avoid Alcohol.
Alcohol and sedatives reduce the resting tone of the muscles in the back of your throat, making it more likely you’ll snore. “Drinking alcohol four to five hours before sleeping makes snoring worse,” Chokroverty says. “People who don’t normally snore will snore after drinking alcohol.”

4. Practice Good Sleep Hygiene.
Poor sleep habits (also known as poor sleep “hygiene”) can have an effect similar to that of drinking alcohol, Slaughter says. Working long hours without enough sleep, for example, means when you finally hit the sack you’re overtired. “You sleep hard and deep, and the muscles become floppier, which creates snoring,” Slaughter says.

5. Open Nasal Passages.
If snoring starts in your nose, keeping nasal passages open may help. It allows air to move through slower, Slaughter says. “Imagine a narrow garden hose with water running through. The narrower the hose, the faster the water rushes through.”

Your nasal passages work similarly. If your nose is clogged or narrowed due to a cold or other blockage, the fast-moving air is more likely to produce snoring.

A hot shower before you go to bed can help open nasal passages, Slaughter says. Also, keep a bottle of saltwater rinse in the shower. “Rinse your nose out with it while you’re showering to help open up passages,” Slaughter says.

A neti pot could also be used to rinse out the nasal passages with a salt-water solution.

Nasal strips may also work to lift nasal passages and open them up -- if the problem exists in your nose and not within the soft palate.

6. Change Your Pillows.
Allergens in your bedroom and in your pillow may contribute to snoring. When did you last dust the overhead ceiling fan? Replace your pillows?

Dust mites accumulate in pillows and can cause allergic reactions that can lead to snoring. Allowing pets to sleep on the bed causes you to breathe in animal dander, another common irritant.

“If you feel fine during the day but obstructed at night, these things may be contributing to your snoring,” Slaughter says.

Put your pillows in the air fluff cycle once every couple weeks and replace them every six months to keep dust mites and allergens to a minimum. And keep pets out of the bedroom.

Beware before spending money on special pillows designed to prevent snoring, Chokroverty says. “They may work if it props up your head, which fixes nasal issues, but can cause neck pain.”

7. Stay Well Hydrated.
Drink plenty of fluids. “Secretions in your nose and soft palate become stickier when you’re dehydrated,” Slaughter says. “This can create more snoring.” According to the Institute of Medicine, healthy women should have about 11 cups of total water (from all drinks and food) a day; men require about 16 cups.

Overall, get enough sleep, sleep on your side, avoid alcohol before bedtime and take a hot shower if nasal passages are clogged, Slaughter says. “These simple practices can make a huge difference in reducing snoring.”

PHOTOS: Inside The N50 Billion Yacht

Posted on No comments

With a repertoire to rival the most outlandish Saudi and Russian mega-yachts, the Nirvana is causing a bidding war among billionaire sailors as they battle to snap up the £200 million (N49,463,088,884) sea city.

Only a handful of yachts have been priced more than the one-year-old vessel – making it one of the most luxurious floating mansions on the planet.

Built by South African construction gurus Oceanco and designed by Australian Sam Sorgiovanni, the 88.5 metre-long yacht has a remarkable pedigree history.
A spokesman for Edmiston, who are marketing the yacht, said: ‘Nirvana is without question one of a handful of elite world cruising yachts around today – and it is certainly the most impressive and opulent yacht currently on sale. ‘Every inch of the ship has been painstakingly designed and built. There really is little else like it.
‘There, of course, has been a lot of interest in the listing but as of yet no sale has been agreed.’

The silver engraved elevator services all decks and leads guests up to the owner’s deck which can be transformed into a secluded on-board retreat.
The owner’s stateroom dominates over half of the upper deck, with a private sunbathing area with Jacuzzi forward, salon with terraces over the sea and a covered dining area.
Exterior stairs on the above deck lead to the bridge deck and the enormous and superbly equipped gymnasium and spa.

But when spas and five-star dining becomes too much, there is a private sundeck with plunge pool to enjoy, a 3D cinema next to twins garages that caters for supercars, ski boats or 10 jet skis.
Or if riding waves is too similar to sailing, then owners will be able to fly off in their own helicopter from their private helipad.

NAN reports that serious quarrel ensued between the couple after one of their sons had allegedly killed a snake in their living room.

A trainer at an animal farm in Thailand has been bitten on the head by a crocodile during a show.
Shocking video has captured the moment a trainer at a crocodile farm in Thailand was bitten on the head by one of the giant reptiles.
Pravit Suebmee, 27, was performing for a group of tourists when he put his head in a crocodile's mouth on Sunday morning.

The beast quickly clamped his jaws on Mr Pravit's head, leaving bite wounds on his face and neck. Despite the attack Mr Pravit was not seriously injured.
"This is the first time this has happened at our crocodile farm," owner Uthen Youngprapakorn said.
"I've regularly warned the performers to be careful at all times."
Mr Uthen said the crocodile was probably startled when Mr Pravit slipped, causing it to snap its jaws shut.
The video shows the crocodile thrash Mr Pravit back and forth for a moment before another handler pulls it by the tail, allowing the trainer to be released.

Kano blasts: MASSOB leader wants Ndigbo to relocate

Posted on No comments

… Reads riot act to northern elders, leaders in East

From CHIDI NNADI, Enugu

The leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has advised Ndigbo, living in troubled zones in the North to relocate to safe areas in the country if they do not want to return home.

Uwazuruike’s advice followed Monday’s multiple bombings by suspected Boko Haram members in the Sabon Gari area of Kano that is predominantly inhabited by the Igbo in which 20 persons were said to have died.

The MASSOB leader told Daily Sun yesterday that his advice was informed by his discovery that some Igbo living in the North do not want to leave, noting that those who wanted to return home had done so when he sent buses to fetch them.

He regretted that Boko Haram exponents derive joy in blood-letting instead of finding alternative methods that do not involve killing to pursue their cause.

Uwazuruike said he had already dispatched intelligence officers to Kano to ascertain the casualty figure of the Igbo, in the bomb attack, warning that if they discover that the Igbo were the target, they would “pay back northerners living in the East in their own coin.”

He called on northern leaders living in the East to rise up to advise their people back home as he said MASSOB would not continue to watch Ndigbo being massacred in the North by their kinsmen over issues that were not the fault of the Igbo.

He said he was restrained by the advice the late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu gave him before he died, which was for him to ensure that MASSOB does not quickly resort to violence in protecting the Igbo.

But Uwazuruike said with the way things are in the North, they might have to appease the spirit of the late Ezeigbo Gburugburu and face the insurgents squarely.

His words: “I do not want to do anything that will disturb the spirit of our leader, Ikemba. I promised him that MASSOB will be non-violent and I will lead Ndigbo the way he had instructed me, but the way these insurgents are killing our people in the North is not something we should continue to keep quiet over.

“The other time, I brought out buses to bring back our people, but some of those who have strong affinity with the North are still there. So, these are the category of Ndigbo that I am now appealing to relocate.

“But more importantly, these northern elders and leaders residing in the East should call their people back home to order as their failure to do so would mean they themselves are endangering their stay here because we will not give notice again to retaliate the killing of our people.”

The Police and Nigerian politicians

Posted on No comments

There is no doubt that the Nigeria Police Force has suffered a fate worse than death in the course of our tortuous journey of nation-building so far.

Starting from the time after the attainment of our political independence till date, the police in Nigeria has almost always been at the receiving end of the antics of Nigerian politicians, whether in uniform or in mufti.

For instance, in the first republic, during the Awolowo-Akintola political struggle for supremacy in the Western region that later snowballed into grave regional crisis, the Nigeria Police Force had received more than its fair share in bearing the brunt of that crisis.

Consequently, not a handful of its officers deployed at the time to quell the raging crisis lost their precious lives for a cause they obviously knew nothing about.

Arguably, even those who narrowly escaped death by the whiskers and with various degrees of injuries did not in any way receive compensation.

Understandably, however, though the Police was not alone in suffering this fate, yet the fact that they were attacked and killed while maintaining law and order at the behest of the then political leaders at the time and without necessarily receiving compensation afterwards, clearly shows the extent to which politicians could go in using men of the Nigeria Police to achieve their individual and group interest.
Similarly, apart from the pre-civil war exploitation of the Nigeria Police during which time they were used by the political leaders in military uniform for the ostensible purpose of bringing back the Biafran secessionist enclave into the Nigeria fold and which invariably occasioned unavoidable death of almost thousands of them, the series of events masterminded by civilian politicians in the wake of the post-civil war period of the second republic politicking further made nonsense of the value rate and respect for the Nigeria Police.

Of course, recalling the litany of grueling storms weathered by men of the Nigeria Police in the hands of both the civilian and military politicians during the regime of General Ibrahim Babangida who himself was by no means less manipulative of the Force, there can hardly be enough to say about General Sani Abacha’s side of the same story of manipulation of the Police.

For example, one still recalls the extent to which the likes of Chief Arthur Eze, the celebrated moneybag and friend of the presidency, enjoyed the use and protection of men of the Nigeria police while haughtily flaunting his seemingly unbridled desire to impose upon the people of Anambra the person of Mrs. Joy Emodi as the civilian Governor of the state, via the feigned democratic ambience created at the time by his principal, General Sani Abacha.

But granted that the foregoing transpired during the military rule which in itself is an aberration, one had expected that the return of democratic leadership in 1999 would have either brought to an end or greatly reduced to the minimum the manipulative tendencies of Nigerian politicians towards men of the Nigeria Police Force.

Unfortunately, the singular incident of abduction of Governor Chris Nwabueze Ngige of Anambra state on July 10, 2003 by a former Assistant Inspector General of Police, now late Mr. Raphael Ige, with full detachment of Police and under the watchful eyes of President Olusegun Obasanjo-led Federal Government shows that the exploitation of men of the Nigeria Police by politicians in an apparently democratic setting is one that has exposed the helplessness and the plight of this set of regimented fellow compatriots, who rather than criticism deserve our sympathy at all times.

To therefore blame the Nigeria Police or any of its men whenever politicians are locking horns with one another over their selfish interest that is often devoid of any connection with issues of welfare of the masses is, to say the least, the most uncharitable thing any keen observer of the politics of policing Nigeria would do.

Today, irrespective of the relatively giant strides recorded so far in our various attempts to widen the democratic space in virtually all ramifications, we are still confronted with this dangerous politics of policing Nigeria with its attendant consequences.

Incidentally, the Ombatse group in Nasarawa state which was alleged to be responsible for the killing of scores of police and State Security Service officers is increasingly reported as being squarely enmeshed in the struggle for power with the Governor, Mr. Tanko Al-Makura, over the latter’s rumoured 2015 second term ambition and his alleged desire to dismantle all forms of quasi-political structure of the group, perceived or imagined, deemed to constitute possible threats or a cog in the wheel of the realisation of his ambition.

And much as the veracity of all the media reports flying around in this regard is yet to be ascertained, it is outrageous that the precious lives of men of the Nigeria Police Force could be so cheaply taken in the twinkling of an eye on the grounds of alleged political ambition of the Governor and attempts to scuttle it by a group of individuals perceive to be his new political detractors. This ugly development is not only preposterous but also deplorable.

At this juncture, the obvious need be stated that it is in no way less appalling that what we are beginning to see in Rivers state can hardly go for an entirely different scenario short of a replica of the political picture of in Nasarawa state.

In fact, be it Governor Amaechi’s alleged disrespect to President Goodluck Jonathan or his rumoured Vice-presidential ambition that brought about the raging crisis in Rivrers state or, perhaps, Honourable Nyesom Wike’s speculated 2015 gubernatorial aspiration that is fueling it, one thing both sides will do well to eschew is this usually bad attitude of Nigerian politicians or their proclivities to blame the hapless men of the Nigeria Police Force for their political misfortune or any form of setback arising from their poor political calculation.

Posted on No comments

Please, I would like you and your readers to please share knowledge and advice with me concerning an issue I currently have.

I am a pretty young girl of 20, U can refer to me as omoh and I have been having these dreams far back as I can remember, even when I was still a virgin, I would usually see a man in my dreams sometimes someone I recognise, sometimes an unknown face, he would make love to me then I get pregnant and give birth to a baby, and the baby is taken from me immediately from birth and when I wake up, I usually feel very sore in my privates and breast like someone who has just delivered.

other times I do not get pregnant we just have sex, sometimes when I go to bed really sad I see a man in my dreams who comes to cheer me up and make me happy and by the time am awake those issues bothering me usually get solved miraculously, then I stopped having these dreams for a while, but now they are back and more vivid and I usually give birth to a boy in these recent ones.

Now I’m really scared cause I now hear dreams hold meanings to our lives, and I don’t really have anyone to talk to. I would really appreciate if you and your readers could help me with a meaning, is there something for me to be worried about? or what or where to go to.

Those clamouring for northern President are jokers –Ohanaeze

Posted on No comments

Ahead of the 2015 general Elections, pan-Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has asked those clamouring for a President of a Northern extraction to banish such thought.

President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Kano State chapter, Chief Tobias Idika, in a statement on Tuesday, bemoaned the plight of the Igbos within the country’s political configuration, saying it appeared that people of the South-East were no longer Nigerians.

He said, “The truth is that it appears the South-East is no longer part of this country. If it were to be in an ideal society, where justice and equity reign supreme, our brothers from the North should have had that moral obligation to graciously surrender power to the South-East at the expiration of President Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure.

“For informed minds, the history of politics and power sharing in this country has never favoured the South-East since independence and it is obvious that since the civil war, our brothers from the North believe that we are a conquered people and should not be considered in the socio-political cum economic arrangements in Nigeria.

“The same power they seek was with them for over three decades, and yet the North is counted as the poorest and most backward in terms of education and human development. It then means that those who clamour for power in the North do so for their own selfish aggrandisement.

“What is the need of clamouring for power when they cannot use it to develop their region?”

He added, “The point I want to hit on the head remains that immediately after President Goodluck Jonathan, power must shift to the South-East. Ndigbo must have their turn and it is non-negotiable. My advice to our brothers in the North is to be considerate and stop seeing political power as their birthright. At this point, one begins to think that some cabals in the North manufactured the Boko Haram just to stampede Nigerians into agreeing to their terms of taking power back.”

Giving what could be described as a blow-by-blow account of Monday night’s carnage perpetrated by the Islamist Boko Haram sect in Kano, Idika, who is also the President-General, Leaders of Ethnic Communities Resident in Kano State, said 45 people lost their lives.

According to him, it was not the first time non-indigenes were being targeted by the group.
He, however, commended the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 1, and the state Commissioner of Police, Musa Daura, who, according to him, were at the scene of the incident for an on-the-spot assessment.

He said,”On Monday, July 29, between 9 and 9.30pm, terrorists invaded Sabon Gari, an enclave for non-natives and planted Improvised Explosive Devices, which exploded almost simultaneously at Enugu/Igbo Road, near International Hotel and on New Road, directly opposite the popular Ado Bayero Square, precisely at No. 38, 39, 40 and 41.

“At 41, New Road, Christ Salvation Pentecostal Church was also bombed at the peak of evening worship. Ohanaeze’s account can confirm 39 deaths on New Road and six on Igbo/Enugu Road. Also, unspecified number of people got injured. The team of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Kano State chapter, arrived the scenes at about 9.30pm and witnessed the moving of dead bodies and the wounded by security agencies, mostly the Army.”

Soludo set to join APGA

Posted on No comments

By WILLY EYA

Barring any last minute change of heart by some principal actors in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State, former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof Chukwuma Soludo will, next week, defect to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

The move, which is strategic, will see Prof Soludo, who contested the last Anambra governorship election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), eventually emerging as the flag bearer of APGA in the November 16 election in the state.

Daily Sun gathered from an authoritative source that Soludo’s entry into APGA is part of the reasons for the sudden resolution of the political battle between Governor Peter Obi and the party’s National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh.

A major reason for Soludo’s imminent joining of APGA is to ensure that the party produces Governor Peter Obi’s successor at the end of his tenure early next year. Our source informed that the reason for choosing Soludo is to ensure that APGA fields not only a credible candidate but one that would be marketable to Anambra people in the coming election.

It was gathered that the presidency is interested in the candidature of the former CBN chief and may not care if Soludo wins the next Anambra governorship election on the APGA platform.

Recall that crisis had engulfed the party immediately its national leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu was buried in March last year. Immediately after the death of the Ikemba Nnewi, major stakeholders in the party had asked the National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh to restructure APGA but he refused on the grounds that some power brokers wanted to push him out of the party he had sacrificed so much for.

The party subsequently broke into factions due to alleged refusal of Umeh to restructure the party. One of the factions was led by Maxi Okwu while the other was under the control of Umeh.

From the litigations that bedevilled the party ahead of the election, various stakeholders including the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, intervened to ensure resolution of the crisis before the election.

The trouble-shooting effort by concerned stakeholders paid off with Chief Umeh visiting Governor Peter Obi at the Government House, Awka on Monday.

The duo declared the end of the crisis in the presence of members of the Anambra State Executive Council, members of the state executive of the party, led by Chief Mike Kwentoh and members of the party at the executive chambers, and sealed their reconciliation with a kiss.

Edo revenue board seals off Benin Airport, passengers stranded

Posted on No comments

Activities were grounded at the Benin Airport yesterday as the Edo State Board of Internal Revenue sealed off the administrative offices of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Nigeria Airspace Management Authority (NAMA) for non-remittance of N40million Pay As You Earn (PAYE) tax.

It was gathered that FAAN owed the government N15million and NAMA N25million allegedly deducted from the salaries of employees in 2011.

Passengers could not leave the airport as the two gates in the facility were locked.

Some passengers left by breaking down the barbed wire that served as perimetre fencing at the airport.
Passengers scheduled for morning flights were stranded.

EDIRS Chairman Oseni Elemah, who led security operatives to open the airport gates, said the locking of the gates was a ploy to blackmail the government.

Elamah said only the offices were sealed off by his officials.

He said several means have been deployed to get the airport management to pay the tax.
Elamah was later arrested on the orders of the Inspector-General.

A FAAN official said sensitive documents regarding flight plans were in the locked offices.

Airport Manager Sunday Ayodele refused to comment but was seen being whisked away by operatives of the State Security Services (SSS).

The General Manager, Corporate Communications, Yakubu Dati, described the sealing off as an invasion.

He said the board could have explored all avenues of communication instead of carrying out activities that could threaten public safety.

But Governor Adams Oshiomhole, at a briefing, said the airport was shut by Sunday after officials of the revenue board served a restraining order on him.

Oshiomhole said it was unfortunate and worrisome that the police arrested those enforcing the law rather than those breaching the law.

Dati said significant revenue has been lost by airlines, the airport authority as well as the airspace agency.

In a statement he said: “The Edo State Government forcefully entered the premises of the Benin Airport and locked out all workers and airport users.

“The government claimed that FAAN and NAMA had not paid relevant taxes, including tenement rate, to it.

“This action, which has effectively shut down flight operations at the airport, is in contravention of the laws setting up FAAN.

“The act establishing FAAN states clearly that ‘the Authority shall be exempted from the payment of taxes and tenement rates and any arrears whatsoever in connection thereto’.

“The Authority, therefore, views this action as not only unlawful but provocative because it is a well known fact that all airport lands are acquired by the Federal Government and are exempted from paying charges to the states where they are located.

“The unlawful closure of the airport and the invasion of the airport’s restricted area is a security breach.

“We wish to assure all passengers, airline operators and other airport users that the Authority is taking urgent steps to ensure that the airport is re-opened for normal flight operations immediately, even as we regret any inconvenience caused them.”

Oshiomhole noted that the restraining order was served in a way that it does not affect the operation of the airport.

He said the airport manager assaulted officials of the revenue board and that he was embarrassed when the commissioner of police arrested Elamah.

Oshiomhole said: “The Edo State Government did not close down the airport. We believe it was possible for FAAN and NAMA to pay their tax obligations without causing pains to travellers.
“The closure of the airport was unilaterally done by the airport manager, who wanted to shield himself from the charges against him namely deducting taxes and not remitting same to the government in accordance with the law.

“We need to remind him that these are criminal issues. It is a criminal act if you do not pay your tax. We will pursue it legally. He is using forceful act by dragging the police into it but we will use due process of law to bring the airport manager to justice because we are all creations of the law.
“The airport manager decided to shut down the airport. He shut the arrival and departure lounges and ensured that nobody goes into the airport. The sealing of his office could not have affected the operations of the airport.

“When laws are violated, it is those who violate the laws who should be invited and not those who seek to enforce the law. I don’t think the action of the police is appropriate.

“We need to observe the rule of law with all finesse. The revenue board acted according to the law.
“We are working hard to send out a clear message that we are under the law. The fact that I am a governor does not give me immunity from my tax obligations. It is a criminal act to collect tax and not remit same.”

"I Support The Underage Marriage Law -Kemi Olunloyo

Posted on No comments

The controversial Kemi who has declared her intention to run for Governor of Oyo state come 1015, posted this on her blog

Read Below

"I support the UNDERAGE marriage LAW but encourage any girl to say NO if they don't want to marry...YET!
Nigerians please start pushing the GAY marriage out too and get your wish and stop being cowards.
IF YOU PUT MARRIAGE BILLS ON THE 2015 BALLOT LIKE DEVELOPED COUNTRIES DO, I'LL BE HAPPY.
I changed my mind. Let these girls MARRY at their own will if they want.
Let them get an education if some rich or caring man wants to care for them.

From studying Nigerians, many of you are certified rapists, incestual and pure cruel to girls period. Read our Nigerian Tribune piece by Monica Taiwo how Nigerians are seriously ruining lives of girls.
Many girls have approached me @HipHossip on twitter and in person and phone telling me that family members violate them the most. Some however did not want to marry that young fearing they will lose their education. I will rather see them as small wives that are loved than rape and incest victims. Here in my hometown, the girls hawking in the motorparks are being raped all hours of the day and nobody does anything about it. You people are straight up frauds with the #ChildNotBride issue.
For some of you on my page who dig your fingers into 10 year old vaginas, God will punish you straight up! That is why your stupid lines have pens not penis, education not ejaculation etc. You are fucking corrupt in Nigeria secretly teaching them about sex in your lines and you dare collage these Senators as perverts and pedophiles. Long as the girls are not slaves I'm OK with it.
Modern slavery of any kind will get you ripped my me. If you are gonna get them pregnant, take care of them. Most teen pregnancies happen in developed countries by 15 anyway so my take is to take care of these girls. Nigerian men have been marrying out their daughters for ages. Being a law now is no big deal. Human rights here does not include gays and lesbians. Give everyone the right of marriage. LIKE America's DOMA, Marry who you love!
That Underage marriage bill will PASS!
AMEN
Watch me inform teen girls about the bill in my hometown Ibadan and what they had to say. It was a wrong message at first but now I informed the girls of my changed decision to get their education and not be forced."
What do you think?

Orji Kalu Threatens To Sue Fashola Over Igbo Maltreatment By Lagos

Posted on No comments

Former governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu has given the Lagos State Government a seven day ultimatum to offer an apology to the allegedly deported 67 person of Igbo heritage or he will head to court.
Orji Kalu criticized the action of the Lagos State government as lawless and vexatious and further said that it threatens the corporate existence of the country and there was no law in the country, that gives a state or governor power to deport any Nigerian citizen to any part of the country.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, Kalu said there was right to freedom of movement for every Nigerian as enshrined in Section 41 of the 1999 Constitution.

Besides, the former governor argued that it was an open secret that the Igbo contribute about 55 per cent to the Lagos economy.

“It is appalling to learn that the deported Igbo were even detained in Ikorodu for about six months before their illegal deportation.

“They were taken to Onitsha in four buses, escorted by anti-riot policemen,” he said.

One of them, Osondu Mbuto, a trader from Ohaozara in Ebonyi State, was on his way to his shop on December 18, 2012 when he was arrested by officials of the state’s Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) and detained for no reason until he was deported in his father’s land.

“The reaction of the state government that the Igbo were deported to reunite them with their families was the worst insult to any race.

“Governor Fashola’s Special Adviser on Youths and Social Development, Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru, said: ‘The end result is to reunite them back with their families.’

“What an affront against the collective will of Ndigbo or any other race in Nigeria to live and do business in any part of the country?

“The action of the state government is not only wicked but a clear breach of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended.

“To worsen the matter, most of those deported are not even indigenes of Anambra State. Is Anambra State now a dumping ground for any act of illegality? Is Lagos State Government above the law of the country? If not, can it operate another set of laws without recourse to constitution amendment? Is it not a travesty of justice that officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) were even used for this illegal act against the Nigerian state? Was the supervising officer, who allowed the deployment of the policemen, not told that they were going to be used for the deportation of Nigerians they were paid by tax payers’ money to protect in their fathers’ land?

“The action is a gross infraction to the rights of the deportees to dwell in any part of Nigeria without discrimination. With this wicked, crude and primitive deportation, I just wonder why a component unit of Nigeria, under the authority and supremacy of a constitution would choose to be lawless in such an unconstitutional conduct. Not even under the military would such an action have happened.

“Even if a criminal offence was committed, the place to take them to is the court, not for them to be deported. The action of the Lagos State Government is lawless as it is vexatious and I condemn it in strong terms because it threatens the existence of our country. All patriotic Nigerians should say no to this xenophobic action of Lagos State Government because it usurps the powers of the federal government and disregards our constitution.

“I demand a public apology from the governor within seven days to all those illegally deported and a repeat of such an act must be stopped or I will head to court to defend the interest of the Ndigbo in Lagos. Enough is enough.
